Victoria Van Meter, 11, of Meadville, Pa., plans to leave Augusta today on the first leg of a 2,900-mile flight to San Diego. If Van Meter completes the flight, she will become the youngest female pilot to fly cross country, the youngest person to fly 2,900 miles and the youngest person to fly cross country from east to west.
