Abstract

Susannah Chaplin, 26, of Bar Harbor, attempted to walk the entire length of the Appalachian Trail this year. Chaplin got caught in a blizzard in the Smokies in March, and later broke her leg in three places in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. She plans to complete her trip next year.
