Abstract

Approximately 7,500 Mainers will complete a 12-hour course on hunter safety this year, bringing to 150,000 the number who have taken the course since it became mandatory in 1985. The course is conducted by instructors approved by the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife, who volunteer their services. Details.
