Abstract

The Maine Department of Human Services has given preliminary approval to Mid Coast Hospital's plan to build a new $42 million hospital at Cook's Corner in Brunswick. Combining the former Bath Memorial Hospital and Regional Memorial Hospital into a single facility, the new hospital is slated for completion in 1997. It will be the first new hospital constructed in Maine in 20 years.
