Abstract

Article about the increased restrictions faced by hunters in Maine this season. Beginning October 30, any hunter who shoots and hits a house or a domestic animal will lose his license for five years. If he wounds or kills a person, his license will be revoked for ten years. In addition, local municipalities have adopted shotgun-only ordinances. Details, with a list of local hunting restrictions.
