Abstract

Patrick Sullivan, 32, of Bangor, yesterday won the second Maine Marathon. He finished the 26.2-mile run in 2 hours, 35 minutes. Among the women, Mary Meehan, 27, of Topsham, took top place with a time of 3 hours, five minutes, and 58 seconds. The winners of the half marathon were Joan Benoit Samuelson, 36, of Freeport, and Danny Paul, 39, of North Yarmouth.
