Abstract

The Board of Osteopathic Examination and Registration has granted Portland surgeon Dr. Richard M. Levesque a conditional license to practice medicine. Levesque had quit his practice in January 1992 for failing to report having found a sponge left inside a patient. He has consistently denied charges against him and is appealing his initial suspension in Kennebec County Court. Details the conditions of his relicensing.
