Abstract

The town of Jay and the Jay School Department, named as co-defendants in a civil lawsuit brought by a Jay High School student, have filed notice to have the case moved from state court to U.S. District Court. The student, Seth Towle, alleges that he was sexually assaulted in October 1991 by five other youths in the school's locker room, and is seeking undisclosed damage for physical and emotional pain and suffering.
