Jotul, the Norwegian woodstove manufacturer, saw its sales in the U.S. drop from 27,000 a year in the early 1980s to under 2,000 last year. The company's American subsidiary, Jotul U.S.A. Inc., is based in Portland, and now sees great growth potential in the American market. Details.
