Abstract

Linda Lafrance, mother of 12-year-old Corey Brown, says she wants the girl to be able to die with dignity. Corey suffers from spastic cerebral palsy and scoliosis, and is at the center of controversy over a Lewiston School Department decision allowing the staff at the school which Corey attends not to administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation if the girl should stop breathing.
