Abstract

Bath Iron Works has notified the city of Bath that the company will pay the more than $600,000 in 1991 property taxes and interest charges it owes by December 17 in order to avoid foreclosure. BIW withheld the taxes in October 1991 to protest what it considered a gross overassessment by the city. Details.
