Abstract
Septic systems at a mobile home park owned by A.J. DeCoster Egg Farms in Turner were found to be leaking, and the Maine Department of Human Services on June 27 sent a letter to the company about the problem. A state official speculated that the failed systems caused drinking water problems at the trailer park, which were recorded last summer. The septic and drinking water problems are the latest in a series of environmental issues surrounding the DeCoster operation.
