Abstract
Profile of Christian P. Potholm, DeSilva Stanwood Alexander professor of government at Bowdoin College and author of "Just Do It," a combination of academic and anecdotal political analysis and election adventure. Potholm has been involved in electoral and referendum politics for more than 25 years, and managed U.S. senator William Cohen's first congressional campaign in 1972. His polling firm, Command Research, has done duty in elections and referendums nationwide.
