Abstract
Profile of Duane Fitzgerald, 56, of Bath, the outgoing chief executive officer of Bath Iron Works. When U.S. senator William Cohen announced that he would not seek reelection the the U.S. Senate, many of Maine's most influential voices tried to persuade Fitzgerald to run for the seat. Fitzgerald has agreed to chair The Dirigo Project: Leadership for Justice, an initiative to involve more Maine citizens in providing volunteer services to the state's court system.
