Abstract
Profile of Dave Pesci, 38, captain of the Obsession, a 22-foot charter boat. Pesci was licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard six years ago to carry passengers for hire, and now spends much of his time finding blue sharks for his clients. Blue shark populations in the Gulf of Maine continue to expand, and anglers enjoy fighting with a 175-pound blue shark on a 12-weight rod.
