Abstract
Richard Spencer, Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate, on Monday discounted reports that his campaign is ready to pack it in. Spencer said he is maintaining a strong presence among voters, despite a decision to de-emphasize television advertising. It was reported that Spencer was prepared to spend $1 million of his own money on the campaign, but to date he has spent less than $400,000.
