Abstract

A plan to reintroduce Atlantic salmon into the Union River using surplus aquaculture fish stocks has received approval from the Atlantic Salmon Commission. Pending final certification from the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife that the fish are disease-free, aquaculture salmon will be stocked in the Union for the next five years.
