Abstract
Gov. King will not be contributing to any legislative campaigns this year, nor will he be active on the fundraising circuit. King has written letters that could be construed as endorsements to around 40 legislators, though not all are seeking re-election. Dennis Bailey, King's spokesman, said the governor is backing more Republicans than Democrats.
