Abstract
Michael Good, president of Down East Nature Tours in Bar Harbor, was on the Maine Audubon Society board of trustees for two years as a representative of the Down East Chapter. Good says his public advocacy for the Ban clear-cutting referendum cost him his seat on the board. Good served as coordinator of the Hancock County Ban clear-cutting. Maine Audubon worked with the industry and Gov. King's office to craft the alternative to the Ban clear-cutting referendum.
