Abstract
Cheryl and Roger Swedburg of Old Town last December adopted twins, Noah AlHassen and Rachel Issuah, 21 months old, of Sierra Leone. The adoption was handled by Maine Adoption Placement Services of Houlton. The last papers were going through when a May 25 coup shut down Sierra Leone. The children have passports to leave Sierra Leone, but are unable to get U.S. entry visas because the courts are closed. Details.
