Abstract

In the battle between lake residents seeking peace and quiet and owners of motorboats looking for a place to cruise the waves, many assertions are made that have no basis in fact. The real problem with motorized boating and the use of jet-skis is the noise pollution, and some lake associations are imposing limits on the times that motorboats and jet-skis can operate.
