Abstract

Harley Lee, owner of Endless Energy of New Gloucester, is encountering opposition from the Appalachian Mountain Trail Club and others to a proposal to erect meteorological towers on Redington Pond Range and Black Nubble Mountain in expectation of developing a wind farm. Lee already has approval to construct a seven-turbine wind farm on Sugarloaf Mountain, with construction expected to begin in the spring.
