"Maine Perspectives" piece criticizing Gov. King's popularity with Maine business leaders and focusing on his Business Equipment Tax Reimbursement (BETR) program, which was budgeted at $7 million when King proposed it in 1995. By the second year of the upcoming biennium, King estimates it will require $51 million a year.
