Abstract

Oakhurst Dairy's new collapsible milk containers, which reduce waste volume by 70 percent when compared to traditional 8-ounce milk cartons, may interfere with efforts by the Aseptic Packaging Council to institute a statewide school recycling program. The Council had hoped to combine milk cartons and juice packs in the recycling program and reclaim the paper found in both packages.
