Abstract
Saddleback Ski Area has agreed to sell a 3,000-acre parcel that abuts the Appalachian Trail near Rangeley to the National Park Service. Saddleback purchased the land in 1984 with the idea of developing ski trails on it, but has decided to sell it after nearly a decade of fruitless discussions with the Park Service.
