Abstract

"Cover Story" piece on the newly renovated Cross State Office Building in Augusta, which was built in 1951. Maine Times asked Portland-based Werner Brandmaier, owner of Feng Shui of New England, to determine how the building measures up as a workplace. Feng Shui is a Chinese tradition, perhaps 6,000 years old, that established rules to understand energy flow. With Brandmaier's comments as he walked through each section of the building.
