Abstract

The $26,000 aquarium study commissioned by Portland-based Partners for Progress has concluded that a major aquarium on the Portland waterfront could attract 1.2 million visitors and generate $10.4 million in revenues in its first year of operations. The study recommends a 125,000-square-foot facility with an additional 50,000 square feet of outdoor exhibition space.
