Abstract

With details of the structures and trash littering the summits of mountains such as Coburn, Aziscohos, Abraham, Blue, Boundary Bald, Snow and other notable peaks. Central Maine Power and the Maine Forest Service plan to clean up some of the summits, hoping to set an example for other landowners. John Williams, staff director of the Land Use Regulation Commission (LURC), said his agency doesn't have authority force cleanups unless it has issued a permit and LURC can apply conditions.
