The Machiasport Board of Appeals last week ruled that the 460-foot United States Cellular phone tower erected in the village center three months ago was built illegally because the town codes enforcement officer failed to follow proper procedure. U.S. Cellular can either take the tower down or apply for a new permit. Details.
