Abstract
"News" piece on a think bracelet inscribed with a toll-free number, which is proving to be a source of comfort to Robert and Rose Ellen Harmon of Norway, who worry about their mildly retarded 26-year-old daughter living alone in Portland. The toll-free number connects to the Portland Police Department, which maintains vital records of the Harmons' daughter, Carrie. The bracelet was provided by the community affairs program of the Portland Police Department.
