Abstract
Feature article on Julie Jones and her 130-pound bloodhound Mollee. Julie and Mollee are one of 22 dog-and-handler teams registered with Maine Search and Rescue Dogs (MESARD), an all-volunteer, statewide network headquartered in Harborside, near Castine. Julie and Mollee also go into Maine schools to teach children what to do if they get lost. With a list of pointers on how to keep you from getting lost, how to stay comfortable if you do get lost, and how to help searchers find you.
