    Description

Views of the Roma Café, 769 Congress Street.
The Roma Café, in the former Henry Rines family mansion, opened in 1936 (following a year at another location on Congress Street). The restaurant was owned and operated by Dominic Marino who immigrated to Portland from Peschici, Italy. The Roma was opera legend Mario Lanza's favorite place to dine in Portland.
