Full exterior view of Green Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church, 46 Sheridan Street, from east. Monument Street at left. Sheridan Street at right.
The church was built in 1914 and named after Moses Green, who escaped from slavery. The Portland Abyssinian Society dates back to 1828.
