Description
Tony's Donut Shop owner Tony Fournier, with a tray of freshly-made plain doughnuts at the shop at the corner of Congress Street (1227 Congress) and Bolton Street.
In June 1986, Tony said he was selling 90 dozen plain doughnuts per day, "mostly between 4am when the shop opens, and 8am, prime doughnut time."
"Anania's Variety is right next door," Tony continued, "they make a nice cup of coffee. My doughnuts and their coffee make a nice marriage."
