Description
Full exterior view of Jordan's Ready to Eat Meats Inc. building, 38 India Street (northwest corner of Fore Street and India Street), from northeast. Fore Street at left. Middle Street, in background.
The newly-built manufacturing plant for Jordan's, which had relocated from 127-137 Commercial Street, was part of a neighborhood urban renewal project. Along the India Street wall of the building is a "Vine-Deer-Chatham Slum Clearance and Redevelopment Authority Project Area" sign, referring to the nearby elimated Vine Street, Deer Street, and Chatham Street.
