    Description

    Full exterior view of the Immanuel Lutheran Church building, 14 Sherman Street, from northwest. The photo was taken immediately after the congregation relocated to the new Saint Ansgar Evangelical Lutheran Church building at 515 Woodford Street, having merged with the Saint Ansgar parish which had vacated their original church at 10 Mayo Street.
    Immanuel Lutheran began as a Swedish-speaking parish.

    Photo published in the Evening Express, on 2 July 1962.
