Description
Exterior view of the Fine Arts Cinema, 627 Congress Street, from east. Afghan Restaurant (631 Congress Street) at left.
Formerly a Loews movie theater, the Fine Arts was primarily an X-rated theater through the 1970s and 1980s. The Fine Arts closed in 1998, and in 1999 the building became home to The Skinny (see photo at this link), a music club and lounge, followed by Geno's.
