    Description

    Full exterior view of the Francis Fassett House, 117-119 Pine Street, from south. Designed by prominent Portland architect Francis H. Fassett as his home, the house was built in 1876, at the northeast corner of Pine Street and Carleton Street.
    Among Fassett's many designs are the Rines Department Store (J.B. Brown Block) building, on Congress Street, and the Portland Public Library Baxter Building (619 Congress Street).
