Description
Full exterior view of Beaver Block building, 498 Congress Street, from northwest. Kennedy's - Hogan Brothers clothing stores at street level. The building, at the southeast corner of Congress Street and Brown Street, was designed by Portland architect Francis Fassett in 1885. The building had previously been home to the Eastman Brothers department store.
