Abstract

Justice G. Arthur Brennan yesterday sentenced Bryan Bourgeois, 37, of Westbrook, to 60 days in jail after he pleaded guilty to reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon. Bourgeois was originally charged with attempted murder after he allegedly tried to kill his wife by driving their Jeep off the road in 1991. During an earlier trial, Bourgeois was found guilty of aggravated assault, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon and operating under the influence of alcohol, but the convictions were overturned earlier this year by the Maine Supreme Judicial Court.
