Abstract

The South Portland Bus Service has expanded its schedule, increasing the number of bus trips daily and running buses later. The increased service required hiring one new bus driver, but added just $4,000 to the city's transportation budget. The Greater Portland Council of Governments surveyed riders last year, and over half of them requested the later service.
