Abstract
"Ear to the Pavement" piece on the building at 273 Congress Street in Portland, which used to house Tommy's Hardware and Dive Shop. Sherwood Hamill, owner of S. Hamill Furniture on Merrill's Wharf, and an investor purchased the 12,000-square-foot building for $225,000, and plans to covert it into artisan studios, a retail space and an apartment.
