Abstract

"Comment" piece on Maine's recent loss of over $3 million in federal funding for the homeless, the brunt of which will fall on Portland. The city has developed an array of programs for the homeless in Greater Portland and beyond. Mention is made of the lack of services for the homeless in towns around Portland, which depend on the city to provide for their homeless people.
