Abstract

"City" piece on former state represenative Herb Adams who has decided not to enter the Democratic primary for his old seat representing Portland's Parkside and Bayside neighborhoods, giving incumbent Michael Quint, who defeated Adams in the 1998 primary, a free pass until the November election. Instead, Adams has opted to run for Cumberland County register of probate, where he'll face a primary contest with Alfred Piombino of Portland. With other Portland election matchups.
