Abstract

"City" piece on Portland School Committee member Erik Richard, who has missed a number of recent committee meetings. Richard admits he has a new job and apartment in Boston, but says he also maintains his Portland condominium as his legal residence. He acknowledges recent absences, saying they are due to two recent family deaths and a series of scheduling problems. Richard said he expects his attendance record to improve in the future.
