Abstract
"Ear to the Pavement" piece noting that fundamentalist, anti-homosexual preacher Jerry Falwell and his entourage will stay at the Eastland Park Hotel in Portland on September 22 for an appearance at Impact Maine Conference, sponsored by the Christian Coalition of Maine, where he is likely to cross-paths with drag queens, performing in "Grand Illusions, Too," in the hotel's ballroom. Officials of Portland Public Access Channel 2, are label "Portland Public Asses" for suspending Kyle Rankin and Efram Potelle, co-hosts of a controversial call-in talk show, for allegedly having commented on the air about the size of one station employee's butt. Gorham town official are labeled "Gorham public asses" for having canceled a Sept. 22 Eastern Wrestling Alliance (EWA) at Shaw School, because wrestler Dr. Everette Pane (a.k.a. Portlandler Nate Parent), called Gorham a "Xanadu of incest, bestiality, and incest" and "the bunghole of Maine" on EWA's website.
