Abstract

"City" piece on the Maine College of Art (MECA), which has announced that 24-hour student access to the college's Porteous and Baxter buildings would be reinstated. MECA officials had decided to close the buildings between 2 A.M. and 6 A.M. daily because security coverage had been reduced as a cost-cutting measure. With details about the new policy, which went into effect Sept. 21.
