Abstract

"City" piece on a legal notice filed by Sgt. Sullivan Rizzo of the Portland Police Department, the first step in a process that may result in a lawsuit against the city. In the document, Rizzo says he intends to sue the city, charging he was the victim of a campaign intended to defame him and cause him emotional distress. Rizzo wants $2 million in damages for news stories about his connection to Nappi's Towing and Metro Towing, both owned by Rizzo's wife Sandra of Gorham.
