Abstract

Maine Public Broadcasting Corp. on July 31 cancelled "Media Watch," its weekly television program that critiqued the Maine media. The show was in the middle of controversy last year when the panelists criticized MPBC for airing a story about a housing development in South Bristol. Some of the former panelists believed the show's cancellation was in part a payback for the controversy.
