Abstract

"North by East" piece on sales of hybrid cars in Maine, noting that the combination gasoline-electric vehicles manufactured by Toyota and Honda get over fifty miles a gallon, and are a hit with Maine car buyers. Adam Lee of Lee Toyota in Topsham says they've had a waiting list for the Toyota Prius hybrid for the past six months.
